The challenge

A compact kitchen space still has to support a full commercial menu — open-flame cooking, griddle work, and frying, alongside prep and wash-up areas. Fitting standard off-the-shelf equipment into a limited footprint typically leaves wasted floor space, awkward gaps between units, and extraction coverage that doesn't match the actual cooking line layout. The Approach

How the kitchen was built

Consultation & scope

Requirements were established with the client: cooking line configuration, extraction coverage, and prep and wash-up needs within the available floor space.

STEP / 02
Design

The kitchen was laid out as one system: cooking line positioned along one wall, extraction hood sized to the full width of the line, and prep tables and sink along the perimeter to keep food prep and cooking zones separated.

STEP / 03
Fabrication

Stainless steel sheet was cut and formed for the cooking line's work surfaces and base structure, the extraction hood's canopy and internal grease baffles, and the prep tables, sink basin, and shelving.

Component fitting

Open gas burners, a flat-top griddle section, and integrated fryer wells were fitted into the cooking line; the extraction hood was suspended above it and aligned to the kitchen's duct routing.

Finishing

Surfaces finished to a smooth stainless steel standard suited to food-service environments and daily cleaning.

Delivery & handover
