Cost factors
What drives the cost of a cold room
We don't publish fixed prices because every cold room is sized to load. Here are the main factors that shape your quote.
Internal volume
Bigger rooms need more panel and bigger compressors.
Target temperature
Freezer rooms cost more than chillers — bigger plant, thicker panels.
Panel thickness
75mm, 100mm or 150mm depending on temperature and ambient load.
Compressor & evaporator
Sized to pull-down time, door openings and stock load.
Flooring
Insulated floor adds cost but is essential for freezers.
Ancillaries
Ramps, strip curtains, monitoring and backup add to scope.
